![]() ![]() ![]() In both the video and audio tabs, hit their checkboxs to enable, and in both cases, select the "keep original" track option. So when you go into the conversion options of VLC, you want to just leave the profile blank, but hit the configure button (the wrench icon). What we want to do though, is just repackage the stream not convert it, which might prevent the chopping off problem. The thing with the issue you are having.I don't know why it's cutting it off- my guess is there's an error in the stream that's causing a failure. Ok so all that said, before I pull you down the ffmpeg direction any more, I looked to see how to do it in vlc. So, the background here, is VLC is primarily a player app, it does have some other functions it can do, like video conversions and such, likely because it's actually built on top of ffmpeg. ![]() Ffmpeg is a command line program, maybe it's opening in a terminal and closing right away. ![]()
